Meet Alisson, a dedicated physiotherapist hailing from Brazil. In 2016, he proudly earned his Bachelor of Physiotherapy, a journey that led him to La Trobe University in Melbourne as part of his undergraduate degree. After completing his studies, Alisson was drawn back to Melbourne in 2019, where he continued to shape his career in physiotherapy.
With a rich background as a musculoskeletal/sports physiotherapist and Pilates instructor in Brazil, Alisson has brought his expertise to Australia, contributing five years of valuable experience in private practice. His passion lies in addressing spinal conditions, chronic pain management, injury prevention, and acute sports injuries.
Alisson employs a holistic approach to treatment, utilizing a blend of manual therapy, personalized exercise plans, and education. His goal is to guide patients in overcoming pain, restoring strength and movement, and implementing strategies to prevent recurrence of their complaint.
Drawing from his personal experiences as a devoted soccer player, Alisson intimately understands the significance of preparation, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. This insight not only stems from his work with clients but also from his own journey as an athlete who has faced injuries. Beyond the clinic, Alisson finds joy in both watching and playing football, as well as exploring the vibrant city of Melbourne that he now calls home.
