B App.Sci (Podiatry)
Deme graduated from La Trobe University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Podiatric Practice. Deme’s interest in Podiatry was sparked from an interest in health and wellbeing, and the desire to be able to affect people’s lives in a positive way.
Deme has worked extensively across all types of podiatry, initially providing services in the community before moving into private practice where she has been working the last several years.
Private practice has allowed Deme to focus on her particular areas of interest including general podiatry, foot and heel pain, and achilles pain. In addition to this, Deme has a keen interest and understanding in the importance of diabetes foot management to prevent the development of neurovascular foot complications.
Deme prides herself on using evidence-based practice, with a strong focus on providing personalised, holistic care to maximise patient outcomes and goals.
Deme is also fluent in Greek.
